Water leak problems in the cargo area of 92 suburban, have replaced the large weather stripping, but still leaks.

Hey Murphy! There are probably 15 or 20 possible sources for a leak. If you can get the carpet out and have someone sit inside while you pound the back of the Suburban with a hose, the point of attack might reveal itself to you. Two places you might pay particular attention to are split above and below. Roof rack mounts are often a source for leaks and below there may be some rubber plugs in the floor pan which may be cracked or otherwise worn. Make sure when you do your back yard water test that you get some spray in those areas as well. Hope that helps. Good luck!
