Check what you are getting for fuel pressure. I have seen several new fuel pumps be bad right out of the box. Also might have gotten some debris in fuel lines to injectors.
It wouldn't even turn on before so I had it towed then he put the fuel pump in and like I said it turned on and worked the first day with some smoke and a weird smell so I let it run for a while because it sat for 2 months already. So I drove it home and it was fine then the next day to to the store and it cut off at a stop light so I went and got a fuel injector and put gas in and it didn't seem to help.

I would say you have a fuel delivery problem. Get some one to help you with this test. One of you attempt to start the car while the other sprays a little starting fluid into the intake. If the engine starts momentarily you have fuel problem if not most likely ignition problem.
