I have a 2002 ford focus that is losing rpm from 1st to 2nd gear it is a manuel trans

firebird338 I do know it's hydraulic on an '02 Focus. Maybe you can take it from there, 'cause I sure don't know what's going on

Do not know either FordNut but just thinking if the fluid in the hydraulic system is a little low it may be at that point that it is not pushing clutch in far enough before it engages to second gear causing low rpm when shifted to second gear but most likely not. Just a thought but most likely needs a new clutch.
