I'm looking at buying a 2005 BMW 325xi sports wagon, it has 111,000, got it for a great price because it the bottom end gasket needs to be replace. The guy says that's why it's losing power. Is it worth getting fix, and is that what happens, it loses power when the bottom end gasket needs to be replaced ? 11 Answers

Replaced the plugs, distributor cap, rotor and wires. Did not help power.
