Why is my air con. Work part time and my van is losing water some where

Sounds like two different problems- tackle one at a time- the coolant loss seems to be the primary problem because you don't want to overheat your engine- check on the ground for coolant leaks, then look under the hood and under the engine to spot anything that looks wet-
