Insure bolts are tightened evenly. If they are then I would remove and clean all surfaces real good then replace gasket with new felpro gasket. Apply orange permatex to both sides of gasket and re install bolts. Tighten evenly.

Couple things to check. Remove housing again and make sure all contact surfaces are clean, make sure thermostat is install in proper orientation and tighten bolts evenly and do not overtighten.
