Oil---blue smoke Black -rich smoke White -normal.....what like your engine has a pack of camels under there?~
White smoke? Blue smoke? At start up? All the time? Warm outside? Cold outside? --- The Pope has already been chosen so that's not it...

the only experience I've had with the intrepid is it gets vapor lock at higher elevations, forcing a snack break, if you've brought the snacks~
White smoke all the time could be a blown head gasket. Check your coolant bottle for level and bubbles. Does the engine over heat?
intrepid_prinzezz answered 11 years ago
put coolant in and now iys starting to overheat just something new everyday
Loss of coolant, overheating and white smoke are all classic signs of a blown head gasket. You do not want to drive the car until it's fixed. It can be repaired. If you overheat, you may damage the engine beyond repair. --- get a compression test and estimates.
