Transmission

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My 2001 Durango R/T has 58000 miles. I just had the trans fluid and filter changed because of having problems. When cold, the trans will shift properly. But after the temp would reach normal operating range the trans won't shift properly. It will downshift into what seems to be 1st while maintaining a slow speed in town. Or when strating off from a traffic light, it will almost tack out before slamming into gear. I have turned the key three times and don't get any codes in the odometer. What is going on?

I really wish i could help you because I'm having the same problem!
I was told a shift solenoid might do the trick. A rather cheap part considering the alternative!

Spray starter fluid around the intake manifold and see if it revs up
