I was hoping the solution would be here....I have the exact same problem with my 2001, and I'm working on it now. I have the drivers door switch off. There are four individual rocker switches and a push button type that deactivates the rear windows for child safety. I thought for sure the problem would be in this "child safety" button switch. Mine sounds normal...the click-click sound...but dont know witch wires to check for continuity. But...I did find a post, (i think it was this site) about a Durango doing the same thing...they were saying it could only be the drivers switch...I assume they mean the individual rocker switch that controles the drivers window? Didn"t study their answer much and moved on...mainly because the Durango" plug they were showing was different than the Stratus'suz-zus I'll try that again...Stratus'es?? I'll check back later...it is 2:55 in Modesto Ca..."celebrated for our native George Lucus...but cursed for Scott Peterson...he was non-native though. Well, I aint gett'n nuthen dunn. I'm Out...I'll check back in...Later.
