If I turn the key off on a 1998 ford escort the cooling fan comes on, the only way toshut it off so it will not drain battery is remove fuse. Replaced the relay, still turns on when key is shut off.

Its not the AC, Its the radiator fan, could that still be it. I will have my son look at the ignition switch though, thanks if you come up with any thing else please let me know.

The car shuts off just the cooling fan is still running.

Thanks for the help, it was the control box, found under hood, seems most all is run through it, had to follow wires to find it, not an in-expensive part but fixed the problem, Thanks again
