I have a honda element, 2005, and I spilled a 5 gallon jug of ice tea in it the other day. How can I get the flooring up to air/dry it out cause I think it seeped under?

hi this link was about seat removal......I'm looking for say for example I'ld like to at least get the flororing in the front seats up maybe, I think they look buckled now and maybe sound a little wet and squishy. But I also noticed my SRS light is on, I think ice tea went into something underneath the front seats related to electronics of the car......
Right. Remove the seats and you'll be able to lift up the carpet and dry it out. I'm betting the tea is on the passengers side - under that seat is some electronics such as the radio amplifier and obviously, the SRS connection. Unplug it dry it out, reconnect it and it won't be on anymore (unless it needs to be). Use BDRY with your windows CLOSED so it gets all the moisture out of your carpet. If the carpet's still wet, you could use a shop vac to try to get some of it up that way too. the padding under the carpet's going to be wetter than the carpet - if you can take it out and let it air dry, that may be your best bet. But before you do that, you'll have to take the seats out - which is why I sent you that link....
oh, thanks, I gotcha. I was able to sort of get to the most wettest area and air dried it without the seat removal but I will also think about removing the seat cause maybe there's more. I have a vinyl flooring but underneath was some white padding that had pretty much soaked up the ice tea and with hot weather started fermenting!!!! So I opted to just rip it out and throw it away, Doesn't seem like I need it anyways. May order some more underflooring or ask a professional to redo. I didn't see the electronics underneath though, maybe this is why I need to take the seat out, thanks so much for your information.
