No it turns over good and there are no troubl codes

My car is doing the same thing. i have a 2009 chrysler 300 also, and when i try to start it, it goes to the last click and then dies. the only way it will start is if i push the gas pedal down while trying to start it, and i have to do this a couple of times before the engines comes to life. Sometimes it only takes 2 times, sometimes it takes a dozen times. What could it be?? A coworker says that it probably has to do with my fuel pump or filter, or a spark plug. I dont have the money to take it to a shop so they can charge me for guesses and labor.
