Heater output hose pipe

Asked by George Dec 30, 2019 at 06:24 PM about the 2005 Hyundai Elantra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sprung a leak today. Initially we thought it was the heater
output hose because it was leaking near there. Through
trial and error discovered the hose wasn't leakiing, but there
was a small hole in the pipe the hose fits over going into
the block. We were unable to push the hose over the hole
because of a small welded pipe going into hose that goes
up into the intake. The hole is on the opposite side of the
pipe from the weld pipe shown in the photo, on the bottom.
Does anyone know if this pipe is removable/replaceable?
Considering JB Weld for a temporary fix.
