Have a 2010 Nissan Sentra. The key will not turn at all in the ignition and the steering wheel will not lock. I have tried wiggling the steering wheel while I try to turn the key, tried rocking the car and taking the positive battery cable off for a few seconds. Could any one help me?

I have a 2012 sentra with 25,000 and the same happened to me, for a while it helped rubbing a little WD40 on the key part but eventually it stopped totally.Had to purchase new key from dealer, luckily still under warranty. Searched different locksmiths at the time but the dealer was best deal. If u start it go directly to have key done...............

Thanks I didnt have WD40 but I used cooking oil and it worked.
