Wobbles

Asked by Tymeir Oct 21, 2018 at 04:08 PM about the 2002 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why is it that when I drive on highways and make
"right turns only" at high speeds (60 and above) the
rear of my car wobbles as if two people are
pushing the back of the car back and forth
horizontally. It only happens with extra weight in
the car. I can only feel it when I drive with
passengers. And with passengers I can feel it
slightly on bumps in the street

1 Answer

I had a truck that did that and in my case it was one side of a u-bolt that broke witch hold the rear end to the frame,
