Everything works fine. If im driving it doesn't overheath but if i stop and go in traffic the temperature starts going up.

does it have the electric fans on it,if so they may not be kicking on,is it full of collent.

yea its full and the fans kick in, i even put the fans to stay on all the time but it still overheath for some reason.. when they painted the car they painted the oil coolant on the bottom of the radiator.. i don't know if that might be the problem...

if everything is working, test temps with a digital temp gauge (non contact type) if input and output temps are ok its likely the temp sensor on the block

Do you get heat inside the cabin when you set the temperature to hot? If not then you could have air in the system and not enough coolant even though the indicator says the coolant is at a full level.

yeah the heather also works fine.. That's why im so confused.... (thanks)

yeah, replace the CTS,I doubt the paint is causeing it to heat,or the guadge is just bad.
