I was heading home in my 2011 Nissan Sentra and all of the sudden my check engine light came on and immediately the car started to sake and would only goes 40 mph. 1 was able to make it home.the next day it started up with no problem.About three weeks later it started the same problem. I taken it to my mechanic and he said it was the mass airflow sensor and changed it out.the computer would not reset or accept the new sensor.what do you think the problem and what should I do?

Tuesday at my friend's house my car wouldn't start and it wasn't turning over at all. The AAA guy tried several things and he tried to start it by just leaning over the seat from the outside of the car and it wouldn't start. So finally he got it started but said it needed a new starter, so I got home and then again, it wouldn't start. So today, being Saturday, my friend Kent came to put in a new starter and it turned over right away for him. Every time he starts it, it does start, but when I try it won't start, so we tried over and over, and we finally found that I need to put more pressure on the key in the ignition, then it won't start for me, so I leave it a little bit and try again, with much pressure on the key. But why am I having that problem now since it's been starting just fine for a long time and I never had to think about i should hold the key when starting it? 1 Answer
