How do I make a final decision between Toyota Rav 4 and Subaru Forester? My main goals are low maintenance, reliability and ability to perform in tough weather/mountain roads. Major problems?

STAY AWAY FROM THE FORESTER THEY ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH OIL CONSUMPTION, NOT A GOOD CAR RIGHT TO PURCHASE...

Get the RAV4, much more reliable and Toyotas don't have the oil consumption issues that the Subarus are plagued with. I would stay FAR away from Subarus until the problem gets resolved.
