A brand new 2017 Toyota Corolla has cut off while driving it.

My sister's car in NC. .What happened?Is it because of no oil change in nine
months?She just bought the car 9 months ago,new. But maintenance
required oil light keep coming on,now she has had it tow to the dealer when
it cut off while driving today. What would make it cut off, when bought right off
the showroom floor. lovely nice car, outside/in. It again cut off while driving,
barely made it home. Dealer has turned it over to toyota service center on
wesleyan blvd., in rocky mount,nc.

I wonder is she ever had the oil level checked. If not and it was run out of engine oil, the repair will be on her.

Did you find out what the issue was ? My 2017 is doing the exact thing .
