How do I get Voice Recognition To work?

My 2018 Toyota Corolla has the voice recognition
option as I have the button on my steering wheel.
When I press the button to set up it says ‘voice
recognition unavailable’ on the screen. I have
connected my phone Bluetooth and everything else
works perfectly fine except for the voice
recognition.
