Hi Thecar has 3100 miles on it and the engine light cameon. What could cause this?

If you are using the 87 octane gas try adding the middle grade gas or high test gas if light is on best to scan codes first if it says oxygen sensor putting in the higher octane gas will Tuan light off.

I is a 2018, take it to the Toyota dealership to have it serviced under factory warranty. Fuel grade will have NOTHING to do with a check engine light, nothing.

My 2003 Toyota Corolla with 175,000 miles was showing the check engine light. My friend ran a check and the code P0770 came up, which is Shift Solenoid 'E' Malfunction. When I'm on the freeway, I do notice my car is slow on accelerating, but my MPG is fine. How much would it cost to get this fix? Also, would I fail the California SMOG check?
