Well I do know for a fact that the blue security light will not shut off and I do know for a fact that the battery light comes on as a result.

Unless you know the security system on a 2018 Jeep Cherokee, please do not respond. The flashing blue security light is flashing continuously. If you know anything about the security system on this model then you would know that it is only supposed to flash for three seconds.
