heater fan will not stop blowing

Did you turn the fan switch off? There are 2 differet switches one for heat or air temp and one for the blower motor so you can controle how fast you want the blower at low, med, high and some are adjustable

Yes i tried both switches. When i hit the off button the display panel goes off but not the blower. In the past al i had to do was push the off button.

when you say the display goes off it sounds to me like you have the electronic control not the manual. so you don't have the switch judge is talking about. it would either be the control head (the whole display part) or the blower motor resistor
