The transmission fluid level is generally not a do it yourself procedure.the trans fluid level must be Checked with a scan tool plugged into the cars data port, the trans temperature has to be monitored and there is a level port in the transmission oil pan, with the trans at temperature, the plug is removed and if the fluid level is correct at proper temp you should just see a few drips coming out of the level check ,if fluid does need to be added. It is filled through the same port, and be certain that Audi specific oils used, otherwise shifting issues will occur ,be warned the trans fluid is not cheap stuff.still want to Check it?

As for the A/C why do you ask?are you having system performance issues?if you are thinking about using one of these kits from the parts stores,I would discourage this.I make my living as a professional auto mechanic, modern A/C systems require very exacting refrigerant quantities to work properly.Overcharge or undercharge the system and it will not cool properly,if it is overcharged you run the risk of damage to the compressor. The other issue that I have is a lot of the refrigerants sold have sealants in them, which if it gets into a professional shops machine can destroy the machine in short order,be safe and have a shop that is properly equipped do a proper job of Checking the system out.All of us in the trade have to be liscenced to purchase freon
