my ABS light comes on and goes off when I turn the car off and restart and is it dangerous if I dont get it fixed

it will come on when you start it- that is the system check going on, but it should go back off- if it comes on while you are driving, that is a different story- you may have a sensor going bad. it isn't dangerous- you just will have regular brakes instead of antilock until you get it fixed- you will have to pump them like the old days I hope this helps.

I have a 2004 Poniatic sunfire n Everytime i shift into drive it gose on i checked the fuses there all good. I changed the breaks all around n the front. Wheel barens still on so confused?
