Rocker

If it's a tarnished metal look, you're probably OK. If there's any type of physical sludge buildup on the metal itself (in other words, you can't make out the fine casting details of the rocker arm) then I'd suggest checking your PCV system, replace the PCV valve if you've never replaced it, and make sure you're changing your oil at the manufacturer's suggested intervals. If you don't drive often, or only drive short distances, it is typically suggested that you change your oil every 6-12 months, depending on the type and quality of the oil in question.
