Losing MPG's
1997 Pontiac Grand Am GT 2.4L engine 5spd
The other day the car started to buck and sputter and the check engine light went on.
I put it on the OBDII. It had codes for camshaft sensor - after locating it (real easy to find)
and the parts store delivered the wrong one - I cleaned up the old one and the light went
out. It started to buck again and the light came on again... I finally got a new sensor
and changed it. It hasn't bucked and sputtered anymore but... Now my MPG is going way
down fast. I have changed the plugs (with proper gap) and the boots... I still can watch the
needle drop -
What has changed??? What do I need to replace? What do I have to do different?
