Hi. I recently got my evap system replaced in my 2006 saturn ion, but a couple mins after leaving the shop my check engine light came back on. The code read P0446 evap vent control circuit.

If it was just replaced,take it back and let them find the issue,could be as simple as them not hooking a sensor up.

I recently brought it back to him and he couldnt find out what was wrong. He said everything seemed perfect. This has been a total headache.

Does, car run good?

Just fixed the roaters and pads yesterday. Other then that my car runs perfectly fine.

Some issue,s that make the engine light stay on are not bad if car runs ,s good and has no other issue,s the only down side to it if you live where you have to go through inspection,s,,other than that drive the car and don,t worry with the light,or take it to a better mechanic that can fix that erry light for you.

That is where my headache comes in. I need to get my inspection sticker done. Thank you for your help. Going to look up other local mechanics to see if they can find something.
