You don't say what kind off car you have, but if if it's a Nissan, it's an easy fix. I may have the sequence wrong, especially if it's not a Nissan, but here goes. Start the car, then put the window all the way down and hold it in the down position with the button. After five seconds, pull the button up and hold it until you reach the top. Hold hour give seconds. Release. Then push button. When window goes down, release button. Once down, hold button for another 5 seconds then pull up and release. The problem should be solved. If for some reason it isn't, call the dealer and ask them their particular procedure. Every car is different. Let me know if it works! The reason this happens has to do with the anti pinch feature needing to be reset.Let me know if this works.
this worked for my 2004 Corolla!!
Pity the last 3 numbers of the VIN did not work for radio security code. :( Trip to the dealer tomorrow.
