Make sure that you're on your regular odometer - not trip A or B. Shut off your ignition and push and hold the odometer button down with one hand. Using the other hand, turn your ignition to the "on" position (keep holding the odo button). You'll see a series of dashes, then zeros, and finally the mileage will come back up. At that juncture, the maintenance required light will turn off. It will come back on in 5,000 miles.
