If in fact the problem is the timing belt, your car should run fine, as before, after it is replace however, you should get a second opinion about the problem, it may be something else. If in fact it is a broken timing belt, there is nothing that can be done to make the car run again, and nothing else that you can replace to fix the problem. Sorry.

You contradict yourself by saying two different things about the timing belt, First saying If in fact the problem is the timing belt, your car should run fine, as before, after it is replace Then saying If in fact it is a broken timing belt, there is nothing that can be done to make the car run again, and nothing else that you can replace to fix the problem If the timing belt is broken you replace it to fix the problem isn't that correct

I apologize if I did not make myself clear. In the second part of my answer I was referring to your asking if you can do something else to make the car run again if you do not fix the problem (timing belt). I see that I should have added "unless the timing belt is replaced" after the comma in my second sentence. So, once again, if you can ascertain that the timing belt is the problem, yes the vehicle will run again. But like I said, try to get a second opinion on this problem, and do not tell whoever you call what you were told already.
