I have a 350 engine in my 1979 camaro I have 3.42 gears a turbo 350 with a bm shift kit I have a performer rpm intake an edelbrock 750 carb a accel hei distributer. I recently put a summit cam and lifters in sum-1104 the lift is 466-466- duration298-298 @ 50 the duration is 224-224 my problem is now it's a dog off the line no bottom end at all. Where is my bottom end. I also have hooker headers 1 5/8 full exhaust.

Did you degree the cam? Did you run the cam advanced, retarded or straight up? Is it possible that you are 1 tooth off on the cam timing? Is the ignition advance working properly? Is the ignition timing correct? Did it run better before installing the cam?
