This could mean many things. Dirty gas could clog the injectors. Fuel or air filters could be blocked. More severe problems could include the fuel pump. I would start with the injectors. Use an injector cleaner fuel additive, and the next time you fill up, try using a premium gas, this has cleaning properties and will help clear out any build up in your engine, see if this helps!
