Need to locate the oil sending unit on a 1993 Chevy Silverado 1500

Hey DebNKen, You are going to want to get your hands on a Chilton or Haynes manual (I like Haynes better). They are repair manuals that have diagrams of where components are located and will tell you how to replace things. They are an excellent resource to have, especially on an older car.

Thanks LightGear, we got a haynes...doesn't show much for a diagram...ken says it only shows for a 4x4 model. We found it via Autozone...LOL thanks anyway.

My Haynes book does not show my location of the "fuel pump & oil pressure switch". I think a got mixed up with my one wire,oil gauge sensor. Someone said look by your oil filter. So here I go looking.
