How to clean or replace idle air flow valve on A Chevy S10 262 carb?

Sorry buddy theres no such animal, if you have injection rather than a carb, theres an idle air control valve on the throttle body, but first try cleaning the throttle bore. you're going to need a tooth brush type brush that is carb cleaner proof, pull the big rubber hose off the T body, black sludge builds up on the bore at the plate.with the engine off, open the throttle, spray the bore with carb cleaner, scrub it out w/the brush and spray it again. It will run like crap for a second when you start it but should idle fine in a minute or 2
