Mamaliz, I am sorry about rollintwenty... Unfortunately this is an open site, open to spammers :/ To answer your question, 80's Corolla's were pretty reliable cars. I would recommend that you check the car for rust problems if you live in a northern climate. They did have small electrical issues sometimes but if it have made it 26 years, I think it will be clear of those! Good luck!

Thank you so much Joef, no need for you to apologize for someone elses foolishness. I have a 2001 Dodge durango and the trans is slipping so I was looking at this car, everything looks good except the driver door won't open from inside have to roll window down, and the alignment is a little off I think that has to do with the three new tire needs one more.......maybe, no radio but only asking 800 so I thought this will work til finances get better to fix the Durango and the money I'll save on gas.. Can you recommend a radio to fit in here..

The 1986 Corolla is the AE86 chassis probably with the 4AC or maybe 4AGE 1.6L -- an engine that with proper care can go well beyond 250,000, albeit that is a lot of miles. No need to worry about timing belt, it's chain driven cam. I wouldn't pay too much however, even a Toyota that is 27 years old can develop unknown problems. I don't know what the asking price is, with that many miles and age, oh I just don't know....$500 t0 $800 I would think No more than that
