The car is an origanal 64 Impala SS with a 327 300hp 4bl carb, and power brakes. This car was purchesed in Red Bluff calif.

64 chevy 327 with rochester 4 barrel carb. starts fine when it's cold but after running for awhile then shut off for short time, it cranks excessively before starting. I think it's a carb problem but not sure. Ideas?? 16 Answers
