Daniel is correct, My 1979 F-250 base price was $5408 but back then I added every possible option and then some since I worked for Ford and knew the right people to get things done, My truck finally listed out at $8604 as I added over $3200 worth of options to it. So the 150 must have been either the same or maybe a few bucks cheaper as a base price which at the time was stripped to the bone. Kenny..
hello, i need the list price for my 1978 F100 truck, can you say me where i can find the base price? is there a list or something in the net? thx for help, Jan

My 79 F-250 4x4 had a base price of $5995.00. It was custom ordered and I added $4000 in options bringing it to a whopping price of $9950.00 plus tax and license plates. That was a lot of money for a vehicle back then. By comparison, A new Corvette was $11,000.00, and a new Ford Bronco XLT 4X4 was $11,500.00. I paid $1500.00 installed for a brand new Meyer's ST-80 snowplow

Not sure what the price was then but today I have a 79 f250 4x4 supercab Lariat. All options. Two tone green jade, partial repaint. Bright. race track chrome. Low miles, under 90k. Perfect. What is this truck worth? .... oh, 560 horse 460, bagged, 35” tires, suspension sits right, big bucks, looks like a 76 high boy from the factory. Bed rails at 5’5”. Less than 200 lariat supercab 4x4’s built. What’s it worth? Was offered 50k 2 years ago. Not even close.

Tried to upload pictures but was I’m much older than the pickup. Can’t figure it out. And on the bright side... I don’t care

Oh, I have quite a few other odd cars that I love to take out for evening drives here in Wyoming. This is a crowd favorite. Today, a Chevy guy ran out of the local McDonalds just to tell me this old Ford was beautiful and he would love to own it???
My 1978 f150 supercab is a dark/light jade green and every time I take it out , multiple people ask me about it.
we bought a brand new stripped down Ford F250 in 1973 for $4700.00 does that sound right?
