Ford never built what your describing "429" in 1979? No, High Boy? No..When people modify vehicles from original they lose value! unless your name is Jack..ROUSH or Gale.. BANKS or Jim..Mclaren, etc So it could be worth $5000 to someone. Ford did build a few '79 F150s about a quarter million of them. Shop them locally for price.

High boy is a nickname given to them around this year because they are higher then the competion it was common to lift they with a high boy lift kit. The 429 is a 385 block with parts making it a 429 boss or 429 cobra jet. Google.

So your saying its has a real true BOSS 429 Hemi head engine in it.. Not just a common 429-460 385 series block.. lets see a few engine photos!

My aunt never drove, her husband did. After he died she decided she wanted to learn to drive at about 68 years of age and afterward went out and purchased a 77 olds. When we finally got rid of it a year ago with 18K miles, it looked like a cream puff. To make a long story short, every seal on the car that was suppose to keep fluids in or something else out was shot. It wasn't worth my time, effort, or expense to fix it. Grandkids wanted it, but no way.
