My transmission in my '93 F-150 is slipping. it won't go into overdrive at all. How much trouble is it to rebuild these transmissions? it's an aod 4-speed. i want to put a 5-speen stick in but heard it was too much trouble. help?

my next question is how hard is it to do? i've worked on cars and things alot but i've never rebuilt a tranny before. i want to learn anyhow. any help on it would help alot. thanks for answering.

you'd be better off putting a t-5 in it, you can get one for around 1100 and source the clutch pedal, cable.. etc from a junk yard. Im sure if you look around you can probably find a how to online.
