1991 Ford F-150 2 Dr XLT Lariat Standard Cab 4x4

My truck got 170.000 miles recently the oil pressure get very low when I stop then gets better when i drive. What in the world could that be.And i put in a new oil pressure reg that didnt help much because the truck got warmer then it  started doing it again.Please tell me that its not a tired engine.
