Engine got wet and now won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck was running fine, but I hosed down the engine to get the dust off - now won't start at all.  It has dried out now, but doesn't seem to be getting fuel to the engine.  When I put gas directly into the air cleaner, it starts and runs until the fuel is burned off.  I think I must have gotten a wire wet, or maybe knocked one loose.  I heard there is a fuseable link somewhere under the hood, but haven't been able to find it.
Can anyone help?
