1998 audi a4 1.8t on the driver side where the oil filter srews into the whole unit what it called i was told that it is my oil cooler but it is lecking oil from the top of the part and it only does it when the car is running it does have hoses that connet to it 2 Answers
It the part where the oil temp switch srews into it and it is almost to the bottom of the engine

hi again, thks for the j217 fault.. is was a wire breakage.. Now i have a new problem, i replaced the turbo , timimg chain .the gents at audi checked every thing on this car and they cant find out why i n not getting power. they checked the timming ,fuel pressure, troth body,and all is correct... im so confused plse advise me on this tks Kevin 1 Answer
