Any ideas why key fobs will not reprogram?

I have changed the batteries and still didnt work.  Tried to reprogram with no luck.

i'm now noticing that my remote will not work when my camaro is too close to the power meter(smart meter in Cali). the signal is jammed up; works outside but not close to the darn pg&e meter.

Hi Century2000, Thank you for your post. After checking your Owner's Manual and reading your post, it sounds like you took all of the correct steps in checking your key fob. The Owner's Manual recommends if it still is malfunctioning , you should take in to your dealership to have it checked/repaired. Vanessa GM Customer Service
