What does a 2006 dodgeram 1500 with a 3.7L engine do when the timing chain is wore out are makes noise

will start running sluggish wont have power because timing is out of tolerance
if the tensioner is wore out would it make a grinding noise but still have power .

Timing chains are usually good for at least a couple hundred thousand miles. You won't notice much difference in the way it runs unless the chain would jump or break.
