Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My temp gauge is going from cold to hot in
minutes. The fat hose going to the
thermostat is crazy hot. So u think its the
thermostat? That i might be able to cgange.
But someone said u have to bleed all the air
out of the radiator and dont have a clue how.  
I saw a video on changing the thermostat
and its only 2 bolts. I'm not even close to a
mechanic. Any thoughts on the diagnosis
and thoughts on the bleeding the air or
should i just take it to the shop?(which really
can't afford)

change the thermostate also bleed..if you drill the new thermostate 2 little holes as shown it will helpget the air out...also water comes out of the thermostate so if the hose is hot im thinking the thermostate is opening but how much.. also add a can of WATER WETTER to the rad.water...
