i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport with a 5.9 gas motor. im trying to figure out what trans i have in the truck. the tag under the hood says bd48. when i look that up it shows for a diesel. so im not sure what trans i have. i cant find any tags on the trans at all but on the bell housing does have 064-2 if that helps any 3 Answers

Trying to determine if my 2004 Ram 1500 Qd cab 4wd 4.7 Liter automatic transmission is 46RE, 47RE, or 48RE so I can determine the band adjustment? I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 5.7L w/hemi it started this morning then died. Now it wont turn over. All the fuses seem good but I don't hear anything from the fuel pump and there is no fuel coming out of line when i tested it for pressure. What is wrong with it and how do I fix it? 2 Answers
