Ok, so my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 keeps shutting off on me as soon as I crank it and the only way to keep it running is for me to put it in drive while im pressing the gas and it still cuts off sometimes. What should I do ?

Check your air flow sensor and if you don't have an air leak to the intake manifold. It might also be a faulty idling motor.
