What engines will fit a 2006 Ford Taurus V6 3.0L??

Karen, first, I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, Ford Taurus has a notorious reputation for transmission failures and since you just lost your engine, I would say, it's time to get rid of the car and get an Asian car. Asian cars age more gracefully and last much longer, I had my Honda Accord for 19 years, no problem with the engine, transmission or other major drivetrain systems. Sure, I had smaller issue and it costs money to maintain a car, but, in 150,000 miles and the years of service, I definitely got my money's worth. It's absolutely outrageous to suffer a major engine failure in a car as new as your 2006, its only nine years old. I imagine you don't have much more than 100,000 miles on your car? This is why Honda, Toyota, and Subaru. Nissan cars, I've found, while much better than American cars, require more maintenance than the others I mentioned. Look, service is the name of the game! From your picture, you DON'T impress me as a hot rodder! LOL. Good luck.
