I have a 2003 ford f 2500, the door ajar light along with the cargo light stays on.

you need to change the door ajar switch, it is located inside the door panel. to determine which switch needs to be replaced, turn the key to the on position & open the drivers door if it dings it must be the passenger door. (the broke switch will not let the dinger work). the switch is located near the lock, kind of agrivating to switch out.
